Trish is our writing, governance, quality management and business development specialist. Trish is passionate about quality and continuous improvement in organisations. She has utilised her expertise across human services and community health sectors, as well as for governments.
Trish has written standards for the psycho-social mental health sector in South Australia. She has contributed to the review of various standards and has assessed more than 200 organisations against a variety of standards across Australia and New Zealand.
Trish has valued expertise in using and assessing the Quality Improvement Council Standards, Rainbow Tick Standards, National Standards for Mental Health Services, Northern Territory Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Australian Service Excellence Standards.
Trish is also a recognised auditor for the new National Disability Insurance Scheme Quality and Safeguarding Framework. She was also the National Quality and Accreditation Officer for the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation.
She spent time working with NACCHO Affiliates and Aboriginal Medical Services, to lead a National Agenda. This Agenda was designed to build sector capacity for achieving and maintaining clinical and organisational accreditation in both urban and remote locations.
Trish has designed quality and policy frameworks for organisations preparing them for accreditation. She has authored policy manuals, assisted organisations to develop service models in order to successfully tender for funding> She is also experienced as a senior policy adviser in
Governmental and Non-Government Organisations.
