Stacy Kambouris is an experienced AGPAL and QIP assessor/surveyor and has been in the health and medical sector for over 22 years, holding positions as a registered nurse from practicing in a clinical setting through to health care management and policy development.
Through his varied roles he has developed a wide range of skills and comprehensive experience in human resource management, organisational quality management frameworks and consulting in large and small health orientated organisations.
With a strong focus of creating a culture of quality within organisations, Stacy has assisted numerous organisations with meeting varying health care standards and maintaining accreditation through regular auditing and quality improvement frameworks.
He has had the opportunity to experience various health care settings, which include general hospitals, medical centres, day surgeries, detention centres, prisons, aged care, Community Health Centres and allied health facilities.
Stacy has a vast knowledge of the application of various standards in health care settings, allowing an understanding of how to apply standards in various environments to improve patient safety and quality of care.
His passion is promoting consumer engagement with reference to the Australian Charter for Healthcare Rights ensuring Governance and clinical systems are in place to promote safety though infection control, medication safety and clinical collaboration.
