
NSQHS Specialist
Working from a nursing background, intensive care unit nursing, then senior management experience (Deputy and Director of Nursing) and later Quality and Accreditation Manager, Sally has enjoyed a variety of roles. These include occupational health nurse, human resources, risk management, teaching, quality management and management of subject matter experts on a large project.
More recent workplace roles have included staff development and training and development coordination. Sally has undertaken multi-accreditation standards assessments in over 200 organisations since 2006. She assesses against the following standards:

A collaborative approach that focusses on strategic outcomes, supported by her management and leadership experiences. Skills in teaching and reading available physical bio-feedback help in working with those who may either be fully or partially engaged.
Sally enjoys using a sense of fun while learning, as this supports active learning being embedded within the personal and business aspects of all individuals. Sally’s respect for all aspects of diversity has been acknowledged by individuals and organisations with whom she has worked and engaged.
Sally’s main value is of “ayni”, meaning right relationship with self, seeing the earth and others as a driving force in contributing to leaving a place or environment in a better condition than when she found it.
